Lab_07 is an internal department and research program focused on expression, experimentation, and sustainability within the fields of graphic design, industrial design, architecture, and fashion design. As the processes of creativity become more systematic, the landscape of creative work has suffered as a result. How can we empower creatives to truly be who they are, reinforce individuality, and solve new approaches to the way that we create? Lab_07 is an ongoing internal project at Ponderwerks with the intent of supporting our in-house team members and ideas they wish to explore unrelated to client work. Think of it as a cultural incubation program that serves as a case study on our modern working style and ways to inform our creative process.
